Training program

The Department of Training and Placement is headed by Prof T.ARUN KUMAR. The department interacts with reputed organizations all over the country for arranging campus interviews for the placement of final year students. Industrial visits to reputed companies are arranged to know more details about industrial activities. It also enhances the soft – skill capability of the students through regular training programs. The department counsels the final year students for their higher studies and for getting projects from industries.

The Department of Training and Placement is conducting regular training programs to students in various technical areas and soft skills to improve their employability.

All the eligible students from various departments like, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, are trained by the following trainers.

Vision

To involve the reputed higher educational institutions (technical / non-technical / public / private) of the country in the process of indigenous development of self-sufficient and sustainable village clusters.

Mission

In accordance with the above-mentioned vision, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan will strive to purse the following:

  • Develop the necessary mechanism and proper coordination among educational institutions, implementation agencies (District Administration / Panchayati Raj Institions) and the grass root level stakeholders to enable effective intervention at the field level.
  • Select suitable rural clusters and effectively participate in the holistic development of these clusters using eco-friendly sustainable technologies and local resources creating sufficient employment opportunities in the process, harnessing multifarious government schemes, Customized use of existing technologies and use of knowledge as per the local needs, to improve the livelihood of the rural masses will be the key intervention.
  • Reorienting the academic curricula and research programs is higher educational institutions to make them in alignment with the local needs to bring in holistic development.

Objective

  1. To engage the faculty and students of Higher educational Institution in understanding rural realities.
  2. To identify & select existing innovative technologies, enable customization of technologies, or devise implementation method for innovative solutions, as per the local needs.
  3. To leverage the knowledge base of the institutions to device processes for effective implementation of various government programmes.
